The Alphorn Week in Valsertal wants to appeal to alphorn enthusiasts at all levels, from risk-takers who have hardly ever blown into a hollowed-out tree trunk to experienced professionals who want to refine their technique, expand their repertoire or familiarize themselves with the art of improvising. We can respond to the level of the individual in group work.
Course: The bus takes us to one of the surrounding Alps at 8.30 a.m. From there we can walk to the most beautiful spots in a quarter of an hour. The group lessons take place in the morning and in the evening, in between you have time to enjoy the thermal baths and discover the fascinating Valsertal.
Content: Musical communication, experiencing rhythm, learning and deepening breathing and blowing techniques, improvising and working on traditional alphorn literature are part of our offer. At the end we play an alphorn concert on the wonderful Vals village square.
